PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:

The bioactive components induce a complex pharmaceutical activity on breast hyperestrogen-based tumors, resulted in:

- hormon-like antiestrogenous action, displayed by blocking estrogen cell receivers, that are stopped to couple with endogenous estrogen hormones (competitive antagonism to them);
- inhibition of enzymes involved in steroidogenesis ( aromatase, lipoxygenase, 3-beta -hydroxysteroid-dehydrogenase) which makes the level of estrogenous hormones in mammary tissue to lower;
- benign tumors resorption with malignancy processes avoided;
- anti-contracture, antiinflammatory and analgetic effects at tissue and vascular level.

THERAPEUTICAL USES

Hyperestrogen-based disfunctions at breast level: breast pain, fibrocystic mastosis, mammary fibroadenomas, benign tumors resistant to the usual therapy.
